Half unicorn.

• 12 years’ experience in a tech that’s 5 years old
• Can lead teams, write code, charm stakeholders, design architecture, run Agile retros, and brew kombucha
• Will accept $20k below market rate and be “grateful” for the opportunity
And if you’re not a perfect match?
Your application? Filtered out. Ghosted.
Your LinkedIn message? Ghosted.
Your actual soul? Probably…ghosted.
Meanwhile, the hiring manager's team left behind is juggling three roles, working weekends and slowly losing the will to Zoom.
All in the hopes that one day…
The perfect, unicorn ghost will arrive.
And fix it all.
But here’s the twist:
Unicorns aren’t real.
Bots help the recruitment process, not do it on auto-pilot.
And ghosting talent only haunts your employer brand.
