Is it just me or does everybody now have their own magic AI recruitment and job seeking app that promises to change recruitment and job seeking forever?
Every time I look at the LinkedIn newsfeed I see another one. Another post which promises the ultimate solution to make recruitment and job seeking easier than ever. All I have to do is comment:
SEARCH
NICHE
JOB SEARCH
TOOL
or some other click bait term.
Have you seen them too? Are they driving you mad or are they tempting you?
I see so many people responding as if this tool is gonna change their Recruitment and job seeking lives forever.
I've seen this all before. Hype. Many of the people that published these posts have no experience in recruitment or even being a job seeker. Yet, lots of people are responding to these posts, hoping that they will make them successful. Or is it a case of FOMO?
Take my advice here, there is no silver bullet to recruitment or job seeking success. If you want success, you need to really work the human side of recruitment and job seeking, and stop letting the tech be your distraction or your procrastinator.
