George the Wonderdog Approves: We’re 3 Today!

George the Wonderdog

Pssst...Talentology turns 3 today. And honestly, I’m a little emotional about it. I was so nervous to start my own business, but now my cup is full.

We’ve come a long way since opening our doors in 2022, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and even more excited about what comes next.

I purposely set out to NOT build just another recruitment business. The last thing the world needed was another recruiter chasing corporates and KPIs, ghosting candidates and lacking job seeker empathy (sorry to all the good recruiters).

I wanted to build something that mattered.

Something human.

Something that gives IT professionals - especially those who often feel overlooked or unheard - a voice, a champion, a fair go.

And that’s exactly what we’ve become:

🎙️ The Voice of the Invisible.

We don’t work for the corporates.

We stand with people.

We stand for collaboration, not power imbalances.

What started with a blank page, a laptop and George the Wonderdog by my side, has grown into something far more meaningful than I could have imagined.

⭐ The CareerAGILITY coaching program that’s helped job seekers rebuild confidence, regain visibility and land roles that match their worth — with a 100% success rate (and very vocal supporters).

⭐ A Job Seeker Café community that meets weekly for real talk, connection, and guidance - because job seeking shouldn’t be a solo sport.

⭐ IT SME-Led Services and SMaaS offerings that give niche consultancies and independent experts a way to grow without selling out.

⭐ CommunITy Recruitment - community-powered, peer-vetted, feedback-first hiring. No keyword bingo. No job boards. No ghosts. No BS. No excuses.

At the heart of all this?

An amazing IT SME and Job Seeker community that continues to inspire me daily.

We’re not just helping them find opportunities.

We’re supporting their success, speaking up for their rights and proudly representing their cause in an industry that too often forgets it’s about people.

I won’t lie - running your own business is tough.

There have been long days, hard lessons and moments of real doubt.

But has it been worth it?

Abso-f**king-lutely.

My cup is full.

I don’t miss corporate life for a second.

And while running your own race can be daunting, it’s also deeply rewarding, especially when you know you’re doing it your way.

And I need to say this:

I couldn’t have done any of it without the love, strength and unwavering support of my incredible wife, Meagan Churchley. Words can't thank you enough. Truly. You are my anchor, my sounding board and my quiet motivator through it all. 💛

So, as Talentology turns 3, I raise a glass (or a coffee ☕) to:

💛 doing recruitment differently,

💛 fighting for fairness, and

💛 building something that means something, together.

Lead with heart. Act with purpose. Build with others.

Here’s to Year 4. Let’s keep going. Keep showing up.
